	Since our early beginnings, Vashon Health Center's mission has been to provide quality healthcare to Vashon Islanders. VHC has six Board-certified Family Practice Physicians, one part-time Ophthalmologist, and a dedicated and caring staff of 21. Vashon Island is home to nearly 12,000 full time residents, and we have over 8,000 active patient charts. VHC is part of the Highline Medical Group of Seattle, serves Group Health Cooperative patients and many insurance carriers.


	Vashon Island is located in Puget Sound, between Seattle to the east, Tacoma to the south and the Kitsap Peninsula to the west. Only accessible by ferry, the Island is home to nearly 12,000 full time residents. Vashon Health Center is located in the center of the island on Sunrise Ridge (the former missile site). The site entrance is approximately one block south of the intersection of SW 204th Street and the main Vashon Island Highway. Turn west at our sign, proceed up the drive past the two 'Granny's Attic' buildings on your right. There is paved parking east and south of the Health Center. The entrance to the clinic is on the east side. In addition to the Vashon Health Center and Granny's Attic, the site is also home to the Vashon-Maury Island Food Bank, and youth sports baseball fields.
